Background

As a kid my MOTHER taught me my first songs and i would watch my dad write and compose Music.
After watching a MRIDANGAM player Shri RAMESH play, I started my first lessons in CARNATIC MUSIC as I really loved the way it sounded, and also because my parents inspired me to take lessons from him.
Once in a while I would do shows with other people and around the same time I joined my school BAND, the “BAD BOYS”. This is where I came across GUITAR for the first time, and like everyone else I loved it.
Once I shifted to Bangalore, I started listening to various other kinds of music that I hadn’t heard of before. The interest in music kept building, and in my Senior Secondary I formed my FIRST BAND “STAG” with a few of my classmates. The reaction to our performances gave me an even better and a serious urge to do MUSIC for the rest of my LIFE.
I played for a few other bands as a BASSIST for a little while.
After about 2 years I joined SWARNABHOOMI ACADEMY OF MUSIC better known as SAM. I learnt from some of the BEST MUSICIANS and HUMAN BEINGS from around the WORLD.
I had the honour of sharing stage and learning from PANAGIOTIS ANDREOU, STEVE ZERLIN, BENNY GREB,R.PRASANNA, Dr.S.GHATAM KARTHICK, JASON LINDNER, LYNDON ROCHELLE, ED DE GENARO, ALEXANDRE KAUTZ, MAGOS HERRERA, NATALIE JOHN, JAMES CARSON and RUBENS DE LA CORTE.
Since then I have played and toured with other bands and musicians, gaining knowledge in MUSIC and its APPLICATIONS. I’ve also spent time sharing my knowledge of MUSIC in a few MUSIC SCHOOLS.

Songstuff

Sharing knowledge and helping others never gets old and also because I might make a few bucks.
When it came to dollars, everyone got uptight. Probably the biggest down in my life was being in a pop group and finding out just how much it was like everything it was supposed to be against.”
