Gary Paul Bryant Releases Imaginary Piano Sixth Album Features a Jazz Blend of Classical Interludes

Seattle, WA,There's nothing make-believe about the pianop playing on Gary Paul Bryant's latest album,Imaginary Piano. The keys resonate throughout the high-energy collection of jazz nuances with a hint of classical interludes.

Bryant's sixth album Imaginary Piano takes listeners on an upbeat journey to places visualized and dreamed only by the individual musical wonderlands adorned with melodies and harmonies alike that touch the heart and awaken the soul.

The title track, "Imaginary Piano" features an orchestrated background and simple-keyed cascades atop an ornate background of what seems like limitless instruments. "Last Night in Paris,"on the contrary, exudes a rhythmic sense of intensity captured by pulsating, powerful strings, while the piano leads the way through what can only be imagined as a dark, rainy night under the Eiffel Tower. His peers have warmly accepted the new release with open arms and kind words. While fellow composer and solo pianist Jill Palmer deemed it "very uplifting music, "pianist Michael David said, "It's about time somebody brought life into this genre." In addition, the Indie Music Review says"imagnary Piano, shimmers with the grace and intelligence of a brilliant musician and composer." Bryant is excited about the release as well. "I wanted to do something different with a piano. I mean, this music is definitely not new-age ambience, it's not head-banging rock either," Bryant says." I'm just trying to put some power and positive energy behind a few simple piano melodies that I hope people will enjoy."

Bryant grew up in New England. By 13, he had taught himself piano, guitar, drums and accordion. He wrote and copyrighted his first song, Move Away, at the age of 15. He currently lives in Washington State.
