Music News: Crystal Zion Goes Back To Where It All Started

Atlanta, GA-On Thursday, January 11, 2007, Enternet Records' Soul Songstress Crystal Zion returned to Atlanta's famous Café 290 for the unofficial release of her debut album ANGUISH AND PASSION. She received the warmest welcome from everyone as she crooned a few covers with her Mentors and Industry friends.

"I came back to Café 290 as soon as my CD dropped, because this is where it all started, over four years ago when I performed my first original song," Crystal Zion reflects. "I will never forget it. I was so scared. It was a clear Sunday night, standing room only. People everywhere, talking, laughing and then I sang ...quiet. All the noise silenced; I felt all these eyes and became even more nervous. I got through my song and there was a roar of applause and hugs from total strangers. Several people said they knew they would be seeing more of me. I smiled and said to myself, 'This is where I want to be.'"

And so it is. Crystal Zion is exactly where she wants to be. After years of traveling nationally and internationally, Crystal Zion has finally delivered to her fans what silenced them years ago - real SOUL music that's fresh and innovative - via compact disc. Her edgy unique style is nostalgic of the classical R&B/Soul era and her lyrics are relatable as she tells her life story of ANGUISH AND PASSION in her debut album.

Crystal Zion will be making appearances at Café 290 throughout January on Thursdays before her February CD release party and promotional tour kick off.
