The momentum of Mack Rodd continues to swell as Mack Rodd continues rip shows and display why he's becoming one of the hottest and most exciting new artist of the Down South Hip-Hop movement. The house was full and Mack Rodd did not disappoint as he and the crowed rocked to his new singles "Dat Whatzup" and "Let Me Holla at You Shawty". Mack Rodd was accompanied by his cousin and fellow Memphis rapper Tom Skee. The Mid South Beauty and Barbershop Bash anniversary show was one of the best hair showcases of the year and Mack Rodd's performance highlighted a night packed with action and excitement. After the show Mack Rodd spoke with magazine reporters and other media outlets and talked about how excited he was to be back home in Memphis performing in front of his fans, family and friends. Mack Rodd stated: "It's always good to be back in Memphis eating good home cooking and rocking in front of my family. I do quite a few shows a year but I always get super hype when I do a show in the M-Town. Diva Entertainment Group and Tiffany G really produced a great show and the fans showed much love." He also talked about his upcoming mixtape. He stated: "I have a new CD coming out called "Mack Rodd - The Double Nickel." It will have 5 news songs and 5 mixtape songs with me rapping over other rappers beats. You know me being a producer I picked the fire beats and I always bring the lyrics. It's hot! Although this was a big night for the hair industry it ultimately was a good night for music as American Idol contestant "Equoia Coleman" also sang and wowed the crowded house. Downtown Memphis was truly treated to an exciting night of beautiful hairstyles, wonderful fashions and a glimpse of one of the upcoming young stars of hip-hop and rap music.
