Music News: A music store with a twist - Kaboomtune.com

The forces behind Kaboom Tune would like to introduce an exciting new concept integrating an online music store, music marketing, and a battle of the bands contest. Kaboom Tune will feature one album each day, offering independent artists label-like exposure.

Every stroke of midnight launches a new album from an independent artist with a dedicated marketing and promotion push for exactly 24 hours. Once an artist is selected, Kaboom Tune offers full design services, mastering, duplication, shipping, and the handling of all transactions at no additional cost to the artist. In an unprecedented move, Kaboom Tune will pay each artist fifty percent of the website sales gross during the 24 hour period. In order to enhance artist visibility, Kaboom Tune has established strategic partnerships with industry insiders and advertises the site in radio, news, print, and online publications.

"Many of the bands we have talked with want to know what the catch is," says Michelle Thompson, Vice President of Kaboom Tune. "That's just it; there is no catch. We were looking for a way to help independent artists get their music out to the masses. There are a lot of great artists out there that are not getting exposure."

In its mission to bring great music from all genres to the masses, Kaboom Tune accepts submissions via its website or standard postal mail. Selected artists can expect to be contacted for an interview with Kaboom Tune to personalize the promotional and marketing efforts. Throughout the entire process, the artist will maintain all creative and legal rights.

Launching on September 30, 2006, Kaboom Tune's mission is to bring artists and music enthusiasts together in a new and exciting way. Many great artists in the world are never heard on a large scale. Kaboom Tune endeavors to change that while benefiting the artist through a new business model.
